WNY Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders

The Western NY Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders (WNYCCCED) serves as the hub for eating disorder services in the Western New York region. Our aim is to connect you with the right information, the right resources, and the right people to help you or your loved one connect with treatment resources and to move ahead in recovery.

Horizons Health Services

Horizon Corporations is comprised of three affiliated not-for-profits: Horizon Health Services, Horizon Village and Horizon Health Alliance. Horizon Health Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation providing hope and healing for individuals and their families dealing with substance use and/or mental health disorders.

Erie PATH

Erie Path is Erie County's new smartphone app that helps parents and caregivers address the mental and behavioral health challenges faced by children and adolescents.

  • Find available programs and services for children and adolescents

  • Access information that explains what their children and adolescents may face

  • Explore practical strategies for helping children and adolescents in their care

Erie Path also includes resources for adult mental and behavioral health services, information for housing, employment, childcare, food pantries, medical care, social services and senior services that can benefit adults and caregivers.

Child and Family Services

For more than 150 years, Child and Family Services has dedicated its resources to meet the needsof children, adults, and families. One of Western New York’s most experienced human service agencies, Child and Family Services is a recognized leader in innovative programming and services that foster healthy environments for children and families in local homes, schools, workplaces, and communities. 

HEARS Family Line

The HEARS family line assists parents and families by providing resources and referrals to a variety of services. Caring representatives guide families to services including food, clothing, housing, medical and behavioral health care services, parenting education and child care.

New Directions Family Peer Support Services

Provides Family Support Services to parents and caregivers of youth who are experiencing mental health of behaviors challenges.  Our team of parent professionals support parents by providing a "peer" service, meaning the service provider is someone who has lived experiences raising a child with a mental health diagnosis.

Alden Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition

The Alden Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition has been in existence for 11 years, hosting community events such as Halloween Spooktacular and National Night Out , (as well as some smaller youth driven events).    As a coalition we fundraise all year long to bring these events to our community and support our youth.  We do not receive any special funding from the Town or the Village.
