The following online databases are your prime source for access to thousands of current events newspaper and magazine articles, as well as reference articles from books and encyclopedias, along with maps, diagrams, timelines, images, and biographies. The information found in these databases comes from reliable sources that are reviewed and selected for accuracy, currency, and relevance.

This database specializes in providing articles on social issues such as Gun Control and Genetic Engineering. This database brings together viewpoint and pro/con articles as well as topic overviews, government statistics, and court cases.

Special Features include Pro/Con articles on leading controversial issues such as Eating Disorders and Gangs and a link titled Focus on Terrorism, providing news and articles.

This database contains author biographies, overviews, synopses, and critical analyses of poems, novels, plays, important works of nonfiction, and essays on various literary topics and themes.
Noodle Tools - bibliography maker!
You must create your own personal folder! Click on "create personal ID" & enter username & pw.. You will then be asked to set up your personal account.
Noodle Tools is a database for creating MLA bibliographies.

If you would like to create your own unique username and password so you can have your own "account" and create playlists, do the following:
1) Once at the above link, click on "New Subscribers Log in here" on the left side of the page, under Subscriber Log in.
