A variety of collaborative, inter-disciplinary projects are featured at Alden Middle School. Content areas are learned or re-inforced while students actively employ information literacy skills.  Research shows the correlation between strong library programs, collaboration and student achievement.  Collaboration between teachers brings out our best practices; our different areas of expertise can combine to create interesting,authentic, and challenging student-centered projects!

Choose from the grade levels listed on the left for lesson plans. Feel free to download to use or modify (we love to share!) but we appreciate the credit and hearing from you.

Please note the handouts are not included since many are not mine to share. More importantly, any ancillary materials need to be designed to fit the needs of your students as well as your curricular requirements. That process is invaluable!
