Students from Eighth Grade English come to the library to present their book reports at our Book Bistro. The library is set up so that students can easily present their reports on the fiction book they selected. Students may choose to do a visual presentation, such as a poster or tri-fold, a "booktalk" or an electronic presentation such as a Power Point or Showbiz. After the oral and electronic presentations, students enjoy snacks as they peruse the visual displays. All presentations must include descriptions of the characters, plot, theme and a personal reaction or review. Students are also required to complete an "Interesting Books Scavenger Hunt" which surveys them on both their reading and book report preferences as well as the books reported on by their peers!
