Author’s last name, first name.  Title of book.  City of publication: Publisher, Copyright

         date.

MAGAZINE/JOURNAL:

Author’s last name, first name.  “Title of article.”  Name of magazine.  Article date (day month year): Page.

ENCYCLOPEDIA:

 “ Title of article.”  Name of the encyclopedia. Copyright date.

NEWSPAPER:

Author’s last name, first name. “ Title of article.” Title of Newspaper. Date (day month year):  Section letter and page.

ARTICLE FROM AN ON-LINE DATABASE: Eg. Proquest, SIRS Discoverer, Opposing Viewpoints, etc.

Author’s last name, first name. “Title of article.” Source of article. Date of publication (day month year): Pages.  Name

            of database. Date Accessed (day month year) <URL>.

WORLD WIDE WEB:

Title of website. Editor/ Author’s first name last name (if given).  Date (day month year) or year site was last updated

            (if given). Name of sponsoring institution or organization (if given). Date of Access (day month year) <URL>.

INTERVIEW:

Name of person interviewed (last name, first name).  Type of interview (phone or in-person). Date (day month year).

CD ROM DATA DISC, CD, or AUDIO TAPE:

Author’s/Artist’s last name, first name. “Title of article.” (if it is a data disk) Title of CD. (CDROM) or (CD) or

            (TAPE) Volume. Publisher or manufacturer, Copyright date.

IMAGES:

Title of image. Date (day month year) of access <URL>.

Use MLA citation given, don’t forget to indent after first line
