| This year Alden Middle School will join thousands of schools and communities around the nation in hosting The Battle of the Books. This extremely popular competition pits teams of students against one another in a battle that is sure to create plenty of excitement. Students will create teams of 3-5 students and will, over a time-span of several months, collectively read a total of six books. Teams will compete against one another by answering questions about the book. There will be two excitement-filled rounds of competition, with the final round being held so that everyone can witness this spectacular event. The team with the most overall points at the conclusion of round two will be the winner. Do not miss out on what is sure to be the highlight of the school year!
